The Reception: ROM Wedding Music in Chen Court

This spectacular four-storey sky-lit atrium is home to the Futalognkosaurus dinosaur and is the heart of a ROM reception.

  • How we use the package here: The full 6-piece band takes the stage beside the dinosaur to compete with the room’s massive scale.

  • The TTK Secret: We recommend the Brass Section upgrade. The atrium handles live horns beautifully, and our musicians often stroll into the crowd for an immersive experience.

  • Seamless Transitions: Our premium DJ takes over during band breaks to ensure the energy stays at a peak in this grand, 550-seat gallery.

“The dance floor was packed till the end of the night”

Tie the knot music was an amazing addition to our wedding. After hearing Vince play and sing at another wedding we knew we had to hire him for ours. He didn’t disappoint on our special day as he blew away our guests with his talent and all the songs were fitting for our vision. He also brought dj Marcus who started the dance floor after dinner and the songs were epic, the dance floor was packed till the end of the night

10 out of 5 stars

“Knowledgeable professional and excellent musicians!”

We had an amazing experience with Tie the
Knot music! They performed during our
ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception for
our wedding and the added touch of live
music was so special. The band kept us
dancing all night long, and their DJ didn’t
miss a beat during the band breaks. I
highly recommend working with Tie the
Knot because they are knowledgeable,
professional and excellent musicians!

“Couldn’t be happier with this duo, truly talented”

We had the pleasure of having Vince & Igor
play at our wedding during cocktail hour
and dinner. I could not be happier with
this duo, truly talented and we got a lot
of praise from our guests. As soon as
they played Gypsy Kings the dance floor
filled up, the vibe was everything I hoped
for. DJ Mike Vibe kept the party alive and
was very accommodating with requests.
He read the crowd well and knew what
songs to play to keep everyone dancing
and even made a video for us which was
such a nice surprise! Thank you Tie the
Knot music for helping create a magical
ambiance on our wedding day!

“Everyone in the room was dancing and singing along”

What to say about Tie The Knot... THE MOST AMAZING BAND I'VE EVER WORKED WITH! These guys are seriously incredible. DJ Marcus, Vince, Igor and Ayla are a fabulous team. They heard our request and urge to give the best possible performance. Their voices are angelic and they can do every style between Tina turner, Bruno Mars, Bryan Adams, ACDC, Van Halen, Adele and more! Small Shoutout to Lauren who helped me organise and coordinate all of this event you're wonderful! Everyone in the room was dancing and singing along with them. I couldn't recommend them enough, that why we hired them back for our next event! Look at the pictures below if you're not convinced :) Thank again for the amazing night!

“They knew the exact vibe that was needed”

We thoroughly enjoyed working with Vince and Tie The Knot for our wedding! We booked Vince and Natalie to perform our dinner hour and for Vince to DJ after dinner, and it was fantastic! Guests could not help but start dancing between courses, which no one who worked at the venue had ever seen before. They knew the exact vibe that was needed, and were extremely pleasant to work with behind the scenes as well.

We booked Vince without ever hearing him play live, so decided to book him for a birthday event before the wedding so we’d have a chance to meet him. Again, Vince and Igor were fantastic.

We’ve had so many requests from guests at the birthday and the wedding asking for their contact info, and I’ve never hesitated to recommend them. They will be my choice for live music for all future events!

“if we could rate them six stars we would”

Vince and Igor from Tie the Knot recently played at our wedding. They were absolutely incredible and helped make the night truly special.

In the lead up to the event they were super responsive and helpful.

On the night, their guitar and vocals were both phenomenal and an our guests kept coming to us saying how much they loved the music.

We had a few specific song requests during the ceremony and they played them beautifully.

They really exceeded every expectation we had and if we could rate them six stars we would.

If you are looking for musicians for your wedding, Igor and Vince are the best in Toronto.

“there were countless compliments from our guests about what a great vibe”

Vince was just perfect at our September wedding @ Alton Mills - honestly couldn't ask for better. Throughout our wedding planning, he was accommodating, and provided us great input. On the day of, there were countless compliments from our guests about what a great vibe he created for the night with his vocals, guitars, and DJ-ing skills. He kept playing great music until the last guest left. What a guy. What a professional. Thank you, Vince & the TTK Events team!!! You made our wedding day one to remember for the rest of our lives.

“We had been taking dancing lessons, and the band learned our song specifically”

ok people of Toronto...HIRE THIS BAND!!!! Igor, Vince, Lauren, the whole team are dynamite.
EVERYONE at our wedding on the weekend asked us where we found these guys...BOOK THEM!!! you will NOT be disappointed.

Right from the admin team (thanks to LAUREN) they worked with our theme, our type of music, everything. We had been taking dancing lessons, and the band learned our song specifically for our first dance. Igor and Vince had sent us a song list of everything they could play and the selections were endless.

They also brought a beautiful violinist to play us walking in to the ceremony and she was spot on perfection. It changed the mood our our wedding to elegant and sophisticated.

They worked with everything we wanted, from our budget to our song selection to everything in between...

“We have received rave reviews from friends and family”

“they were so accommodating when my mom had asked to perform a song alongside them”

Tie The Knot couldn't have been better for our wedding day! From the onset working with Vince and Lauren was an absolute dream. They were always available to discuss song choices as well as logistics and made it super easy. They helped provide amazing choices when it came to music for our ceremony and cocktail hour and totally understood the type of music our guests would love.

Even more, they were so accommodating when my mom had asked to perform a song alongside them during the reception. It was a highlight of the night nd truly special and they helped make it possible. We received so many comments on how amazing they were and how they helped bring the exact energy for the night we were hoping for. Especially during our Horah which was nothing short of energetic. From all the special moments and everything in between Tie the Knot was incredible!

“Ourselves and our guests were raving about them throughout the night”

I honestly cannot say enough about how amazing Tie the Knot was for our wedding. Igor and Vanessa played amazingly in both our Ceremony and Cocktails and transitioned seamlessly between the two. For the reception, Gary and Igor were phenomenal for our reception and Igor took us into the night as the DJ. The whole combination was absolutely perfect and more than we could have possibly imagined. Ourselves and our guests were raving about them throughout the night and still talking about it. Easily the best decision we made for our wedding and cannot recommend them enough for anyone thinking about it

“will surely recommend them to anyone that wants to add a touch of class to their events”

Professional, perfectly timed and prompt. Loved their performances at our wedding. No doubt they are worth it and will surely recommend them to anyone that wants to add a touch of class to their events. Thank you to Vince (Owner), who was able to organize quickly and not disappoint. Great performance and work! Exceeded expectations. (I do wish they stayed after the performance, so we could thank them, however understandable how busy they might have been needed to leave)

“easy to communicate with from start to finish!”

This band is fantastic! They played my wedding and were easy to communicate with from start to finish! They took my requests, played a couple great sets and really catered to the audience.

We highly recommend this dynamic group for your next event :)

“So talented and extremely professional”

We had Igor perform at the ceremony and cocktail reception of our wedding and he was phenomenal! So talented and extremely professional. He set up quickly with the venue without needing any assistance from us so we could focus on our day. He chose beautiful songs to perform and created an amazing ambience that our guests still talk about to this day. We also had guests hire him for private parties since our wedding. Highly recommend Igor to make your event even more memorable.

“Dj was great kept us on the dance floor all night long”

Went to a wedding friday and had the most amazing time, Dj was great kept us on the dance floor all night long. He kept the energy high and the hits coming, Everyone will be talking about the party for weeks to come would highly recommend.

“helped to make our day extra extra special”

We had Igor perform for our backyard wedding reception. He was absolutely incredible! He was kind enough to master my unusual song requests for our first dance!
He played a wonderful selection of music for all the guests to enjoy, as well as Dj’d when he was breaking from performing live.
He helped to make our day extra extra special.
Huge thank you to Igor!

“They exceeded our expectations in every way: quality, value, efficiency, communication”

There's no other way to say it: Vince, Nicole and the team at Tie The Knot were the best wedding band we had ever seen or worked with. And we've been to *many* weddings.

They exceeded our expectations in every way: quality, value, efficiency, communication. Their music is spectacular, their sound is gorgeous, and their people—from Vince, leading the team, to Lauren in operations—are a dream to work with.

Our guests just kept coming up to us and saying, "Who's your band? They're *amazing*!!" We felt the same way. Vince and his team made our big day: we'd choose them again ten times out of ten.
